We are open each and every Saturday from 8-noon in Tormey Park. The 2nd Saturday of each month is always Customer Appreciation Day with music & hot dogs. If you haven't made it to the market yet, what are you waiting for???

We'll have plenty of good Bar B-Q, musical entertainment by "Charlie the Singing Waitress" & speaker Brent Carpenter from FAPRI. Brent has been sponsored by KMZU Radio and will be talking about the new farm bill passed this Summer. As in years past…the politicians will be serving you dinner in exchange for a little time on the microphone. The entire meal has been provided from donations…donations from our area businesses. Please join us…we are a farming community and proud to host this event in their honor.

One of Brookfield's own, my daughter, Smokey (Graff) Boyles will have her "Fruity Peppers" Jellies on display at the Agri Missouri Market located inside the Agriculture Building in Sedalia at the Missouri State Fair. Her sample days are August 9th, 15th & 16th. Smokey has been making and selling her Jalapeno Jellies at area Farmers Markets and festivals for over four years, but this is her 1st year to be invited to be part of the Agri Missouri Market. Besides her featured Jalapeno Jellies, Smokey makes pecan butter along with homemade seasonal jams & jellies. You can find her @ www.fruitypeppers.com.
