Our 2009 Schedule of Events will be published later this year - here is a sampling of all the activities held in 2008:

THURSDAY - August 28th - 6:00 p.m.

• Little Miss Contest (Ages 4-6)
• Jr. Princess Contest (Ages 7-9)
• Princess Contest (Ages 10-12)
• Junior Queen Contest (Ages 13-15)
• Senior Queen Contest (Ages 16-18)

Open to everyone. Jr.-Sr. Queens must pre-register by 8-25. Contests held at Twin Parks Gazebo.

FRIDAY - August 29th

• 9:00 a.m. - Sidewalk Sales Downtown Merchants
• 8-9 p.m. - South Main Night Flame -South Main Street sponsored by McDonald's Restaurant and Greg Simerman American Family Insurance.

SATURDAY - August 30th

• 7:00 a.m.* - Opening Ceremonies - Dick Liedorff M.C.
• 7:15 a.m.* - John Petrehn Memorial Cup Flight
• 9:00 a.m. - Sidewalk Sales - Downtown Merchants
  East Twin Park -Arts & Crafts - Kids Games Food and More
• 10:00 a.m. - Baby Show - Gazebo - East Twin Parks
  Registration Begins at 9:30
  8 Boys & Girls Age groups - 0 Months thru 3 Years
• Noon - Balloonist Parade - Main Street
• 1:00 p.m. - Free Entertainment at the Gazebo: "Charlie Sings Country"
• 4:00 p.m.* - Gates Open Launch Site
• 6:00 p.m.* - Balloon Flight
• 8:00 p.m.* - Basel Downey Memorial Launch Site Nite Lite

• 9:00 p.m. - Balloon Derby Dance - Elks Lodge
  Free Admission & Open To The Public

19th ANNUAL BALLOONING IN THE PARK
Twin Parks, Downtown Brookfield, Saturday, August 30, 2008

Booth space is 12 x 12 and is on a first come, first served basis. (If you want a certain spot, plan to get there early.) Set up is in East Twin Parks on Main Street, Downtown Brookfield, Missouri.

Cost per booth space is $25.00 WITHOUT ELECTRICITY at Twin Parks.

Cost per booth space WITH ELECTRICITY IS $35.00 AT Twin Parks (one 30 amp/110 volt provided, extra circuits are an additional $10.00).

You may have more than one booth space. If using more than one space (12 x 12), you are expected to pay for the spaces used.

Craft booth space is also available on the BALLOON SITE for both Saturday and Sunday for an additional $25.00 PER DAY.
